Description
The females are much bigger than the males, they are about 15cm in length and are bright green in colour with a leaf shaped body. The males, in comparison, are about 10cm in length and are brown with a much skinnier body.
Habitat & Distribution
Jungle nymphs come from the hot, humid rainforest area of Malaysia in South-east Asia.
Diet
These invertebrates are herbivores and feed on various plant material including bramble, hawthorn, oak, and ivy.
Life Span
The jungle nymph can live for up to 2 years.
