Following the incredible success of our first event, we are delighted to welcome families back for the ASN Family Festival at Scotland’s Theme Park.

This special day is designed entirely with our ASN (Additional Support Needs) families in mind. Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming and joyful environment where every guest can enjoy the magic of our theme park at their own pace.

Sensory-Friendly Theme Park Hours
10:00 AM – 12:00 NOON

Start your day with our special reduced sensory hours, designed to support guests who benefit from a calmer environment.
– Lowered sounds
– Softer lighting where possible
– Reduced strong smells
– Limited park capacity for extra space and comfort

Your Ride-All-Day wristband gives you unlimited access to attractions until 6:00 PM, however these sensory adjustments are exclusive from 10am – 12noon.

Roald Dahl – Imagine That!

Live Interactive Show

Large indoor Marquee – located near Moby’s Revenge water ride

We are excited to introduce “Roald Dahl – Imagine That!”, a joyful and interactive live show making its Scottish debut at our ASN Family Festival.

Adapted specially for ASN audiences, this magical performance celebrates the power of stories, imagination and reading in a fun, relaxed and engaging environment.

Meet Alf, a colourful, book-loving character with a coat full of stories and a huge imagination. Inspired by the works of Roald Dahl, Alf brings stories to life through playful storytelling, humour and audience interaction that sparks curiosity, creativity and laughter.

This special production is performed by Mewn Cymeriad and adapted for Scottish audiences by Stagecraft Entertainment.

Messy Play Indoor Marquee
12:00 – 6:00 PM | Drop-in anytime

Our sensory-rich messy play area offers creative exploration in a relaxed and flexible environment.

There is no schedule and no pressure – guests can drop in and enjoy the activities at their own pace with the support of our fully trained ASN team.

Rainforest Amazonia – add on
10:00 AM – Last entry 4:30 PM

Step into our indoor tropical rainforest experience, home to fascinating wildlife and lush greenery.

Rainforest Amazonia is located at the far end of the park beside the Alona Hotel and offers a calm and engaging experience for families to explore together.

Quiet Space
If you need a break from the excitement, our Theatre will be available as a quiet and calming space throughout the day.
The Theatre is located at the back of the Main Entrance, to the left-hand side, providing a comfortable area for guests who may need time away from the activity of the park.
Our team will be on hand to ensure the space remains calm, supportive and welcoming for families who need a moment to relax.
Families are welcome to step away and return to activities whenever needed — the day is designed to allow everyone to enjoy the festival at their own pace without pressure.
